Dear Parents / Guardians,

Greetings from Don Bosco English Medium School.

As we prepare for the Term 1 Examinations for Grades 1 to 10, scheduled from September 21, 2026, to September 29, 2026, we request you to carefully review the following guidelines to ensure smooth conduct during the assessment period:

Examination Schedule: All examinations will be conducted in the morning session as per the timetable previously distributed.

Lunch: Students enrolled in the school midday meal program will be served lunch following the examination. All other students must bring their own lunch box, as departure times are extended. All students will have their lunch at school prior to dismissal.

Hydration: Due to rising temperatures, please ensure your child carries an adequate water bottle and remains well-hydrated throughout the day.

School Transport: School buses will depart campus at 1:15 PM during the examination period.

Health & Medical Absence: If your child is unwell, please do not send them to school. Isolated examination rooms cannot be arranged. A re-examination will be scheduled for students absent due to genuine medical reasons upon submission of a valid medical certificate.

Post-Exam Activities: Following the examinations, regular co-curricular activities, including Talents Day, Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA), and Intramural Games, will take place as scheduled.

Vacation & Reopening Dates:

Mid-Term / Dasara Vacation: Commences on Monday, October 12, 2026.

School Reopening (Term 2): Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Grades IX & X (CBSE Registration): Parents of Grade IX and X students may be requested to visit the school during the vacation period for verification/corrections in the List of Candidates (LOC), subject to CBSE timeline requirements.

Parental Supervision: We kindly request parents to monitor their child's daily study routines and assist them in preparing effectively.

We wish all our students the very best in their examinations and overall academic growth.

Warm regards,

Principal
